BERLIN, OCTOBER 21, 2026 — Omi today announced the launch of ProductDrop, a new way for brands to create AI-generated product imagery while keeping products accurate and consistent at scale.
Generative AI has dramatically expanded what creative teams can produce. But for brands managing hundreds or thousands of products, the product itself cannot be approximate.
Packaging, labels, colors, proportions and market-specific variations all need to remain correct, even as creative possibilities multiply.
Unlike workflows that ask generative AI to recreate the product in every image, ProductDrop keeps the product itself anchored to the same approved 3D Digital Twin. Its geometry, materials, artwork, labels and proportions remain consistent and accurate as teams generate new environments, formats and variations. This means brands can move from one visual to hundreds or thousands of outputs without introducing new product errors each time they scale.
“Your product is at the heart of your brand. You can’t compromise on how it looks,” said Hugo Borensztein, CEO and co-founder of Omi. “AI gives brands the freedom to create any world around it. Digital Twins make sure the product entering that world remains an accurate, approved representation of the real product. With ProductDrop, that creative freedom can finally scale across an entire product range.”
“For retail and CPG brands, product accuracy isn’t optional — it’s the foundation of consumer trust. NVIDIA’s accelerated platform, built on CUDA, OptiX, and RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs, was designed to bring exactly this kind of precision and scale together. What Omi has built with ProductDrop shows how open-source innovation and purpose-built infrastructure can transform creative production for the industry,” stated Azita Martin, VP and GM of Retail and CPG at NVIDIA.
Behind each ProductDrop visual is a versioned Digital Twin. When packaging, claims, shades or market versions change, teams update the product once at the source and regenerate affected content using the current approved version.
L’Oréal is already using this approach, combining Omi’s Digital Twins with AI-generated brand environments within its CreAItech program.
“We use Omi to combine accurate 3D Digital Twins of our products with the backgrounds and creative environments we generate using AI,” said Thomas Alves Machado, GenAI Content Global Director at L’Oréal. “This gives our brands greater creative freedom while preserving the accuracy of our products, without GenAI reproduction errors.”
ProductDrop is built on NVIDIA OptiX and NVIDIA CUDA, combined with open-source image understanding and generation models including the FLUX family and Qwen-Image, running on NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Nvidia Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. Omi's pipeline also integrates open-source models such as MoGe for depth estimation and Microsoft TRELLIS for 3D asset generation.
Optimized on NVIDIA GPUs and served through a custom inference endpoint on Verda, a European full-stack AI cloud, TRELLIS inference runs 10x faster, cutting overall generation pipeline latency by 4x.
ProductDrop separates creative generation from product representation: AI generates the world around the product, while Omi keeps the product grounded in approved product data.
