Moët Hennessy: Making Every Bottle Market-Ready

One Digital Twin foundation for launches, PDPs and creative production

Moët Hennessy Wine Estates manages nine Maisons, multiple product launches and content requirements across markets, channels and seasons.

But every new bottle, campaign or local adaptation relied on the same traditional production cycle: product shipping, studio coordination, shooting, post-production and multiple rounds of approval.

As demand increased, this model became harder to scale. New launches took weeks to prepare, local markets needed their own variations, and teams repeatedly recreated the same products for social, eCommerce and campaign content.

With Omi, Moët Hennessy transformed its bottle portfolio into a library of trusted Digital Twins.

Each product could now be reused across the three workflows global consumer brands manage every day:

  • Product launches

  • PDP and eCommerce activation

  • Continuous creative production

The result: 3× faster production, 100+ approved visuals in a matter of weeks, and a more consistent way to activate nine Maisons across markets.

The Challenge

For years, Moët Hennessy’s wine division relied on traditional photoshoots to produce product imagery. While familiar, this model increasingly struggled to keep pace with market needs across nine wine houses, each with its own launches, campaigns, and local requirements.

Coordinating production at that scale was complex and time-consuming. Pre-production alone could take weeks, involving international crews, cross-continental product shipping, and schedules spanning multiple time zones.

The Challenge

Every new activation restarted production

For years, Moët Hennessy Wine Estates relied on traditional photoshoots to create product visuals.

Each production required:

  • Several weeks of preparation

  • Product shipments across markets

  • Studio and team coordination

  • Several days of shooting

  • Additional weeks of post-production

  • Multiple rounds of validation

Once one market completed a shoot, another would often request a new background, seasonal execution or local variation and the process would begin again.

"We had to mobilize a dedicated team and manage post-production every time new bottles were released."

The issue was no longer image quality.

It was making every product ready for every launch, channel and market without rebuilding it each time.

Cloudy Bay Wine Digital Twins

The Solution

One trusted Digital Twin for every bottle

Moët Hennessy began by transforming its bottle collections into accurate Digital Twins.

Each model captured the properties that matter for premium wines and spirits imagery:

  • Glass transparency

  • Light refraction

  • Label accuracy

  • Shadows and reflections

  • Bottle proportions and materials

The products were then centralized in a shared Omi library, where teams could reuse them across approved scenes and formats.

Instead of recreating the bottle for every deliverable, teams could keep the product fixed and change everything around it.

1. Product Launches: Launch every bottle without waiting for a photoshoot

Before Omi, each new release required a dedicated production cycle.

Products had to be available physically, shipped to the right location and photographed before launch assets could be finalized. This created delays and made global coordination difficult.

With Digital Twins, Moët Hennessy could begin producing launch content before bottles reached stores.

The same approved product could be used to create:

  • Global launch assets

  • Local market adaptations

  • Seasonal campaign variations

  • Retail and web content

  • Social and eCommerce formats

Campaigns could therefore be ready before products arrived at the point of sale, while all nine Maisons could be activated from the same production foundation.

With Omi

  • 9 Maisons activated from one platform

  • Campaigns ready before products reached stores

  • 3× faster production

  • 100+ approved visuals created in weeks

Moët Hennessy moved from sequential, shoot-dependent launches to a model where every bottle could be prepared for market in advance.

2. PDP and eCommerce Activation: Keep every product accurate across markets and channels

Global eCommerce teams need more than a single packshot.

Each market, retailer and channel may require different crops, backgrounds, formats and visual compositions. Traditionally, those variations were produced independently, creating duplicated work and inconsistent results.

With a trusted Digital Twin, Moët Hennessy could generate eCommerce assets from the same approved product source used for launch and campaign content.

Teams could adapt:

  • Product views

  • Backgrounds

  • Aspect ratios

  • Local formats

  • Seasonal environments

  • Channel-specific compositions

The bottle remained accurate and consistent, even when the surrounding execution changed.

The same environment supported eCommerce assets for Asia, social content for France and seasonal campaigns for Europe.

With Omi

  • One approved product source across eCommerce, social and web

  • Local teams able to create assets autonomously

  • Simplified validation processes

  • Consistent premium standards across markets

Instead of recreating every product for every PDP, Moët Hennessy could reuse one trusted bottle everywhere.

3. Creative Production Produce continuous content without continuous shoots

Moët Hennessy also needed to create new product content throughout the year.

A Christmas campaign might require a winter setting. A summer catalogue might need a sunlit terrace. A local social activation might call for a different composition or food pairing.

Previously, each creative request could trigger a new shoot.

With Omi, the team created four custom, pre-approved virtual environments:

  • A Mediterranean veranda with golden light

  • The green hills of southern France

  • A minimalist dining room

  • A dreamlike beach

Lighting, camera angles and structural elements were locked to protect the visual identity of each Maison. Products and accessories could then be adjusted without restarting the full approval process.

Moët Hennessy also built a library of custom 3D props—including lemons, oysters and ceramic vases—to extend the system beyond bottle imagery and support complete branded scenes.

With Omi

  • 100+ visuals approved in a few weeks

  • 3× faster content production

  • Four pre-approved branded environments

  • Local teams producing content autonomously

  • Lower recurring shooting costs

The team could now create seasonal campaigns, local adaptations and social content from one controlled production environment.

Brand Control Without Production Bottlenecks

Giving more teams the ability to create content can introduce a new risk: inconsistency.

Moët Hennessy therefore placed brand governance at the center of the workflow.

Creative rules were defined in advance, including:

  • Lighting direction

  • Camera angles

  • Food and wine pairings

  • Approved accessories

  • Scene composition

  • Maison-specific visual standards

Once validated, these rules were embedded into locked environments.

Local teams gained more autonomy, but only within a system designed to protect the premium identity of each brand.

"We wanted to retain control over the assets being distributed, while enabling our Maisons and markets to create visuals in a secure and approved environment.
