Panier des Sens: Performance-Driven Visuals with 3D Creation

The Challenge
Scaling growth without scaling costs
Panier des Sens had experienced rapid growth - tripling revenue in two years - driven largely by eCommerce acceleration post-Covid. But behind the performance, the content engine was under strain.
The team had chosen to internalize content production as much as possible. They operated a small in-house studio and reused visuals everywhere: CRM, ads, eCommerce, catalogs. This created a bottleneck:
Limited bandwidth for content creation
Heavy reuse of the same visuals across channels
Pressure on creative teams for low–value-added requests
Slow turnaround for packshots and campaign assets
As Noé Feretti, eCommerce & Omnichannel Manager, explains, the real question became:
“We’ve tripled our growth in two years. How do we accelerate and make it sustainable with the resources of an SME?”
Coming from a background working with 3D studios at L’Oréal, Noé knew the potential of 3D but assumed it would be too expensive and too complex for a mid-sized brand.

The Solution
Bringing 3D creation in-house with Omi
Panier des Sens discovered Omi as a way to bring high-quality 3D product visuals into their daily workflow - without the cost structure of traditional 3D studios.
The shift was immediate:
Packshots generated in ~5 minutes
Products placed into pre-built templates with fixed scale and lighting
No constant reliance on the Art Director for routine visuals
Products modeled before physical release, enabling earlier communication
“Today, I generate my 3D packshots in 5 minutes. We created a template, set the lighting, and I just place the product and generate the visual.”
Omi quickly became more than a production tool - it became a shared visual system inside the company.
A shared visual engine across teams
From tool to internal visual platform
Panier des Sens didn’t restrict Omi to marketing alone. The platform evolved into what the team describes as an internal Pinterest, tailored to their own products.
80 products already modeled, 69 more in progress
Over 1/3 of the full catalog already available in 3D
Separate modeling budgets allocated by department (marketing, digital, new brand launches)
Visual universes organized by user and theme
Teams browse existing scenes for inspiration before launching campaigns, newsletters, or ads - often starting directly from Omi rather than from a blank brief.
“It’s a sandbox. Everyone can bring ideas to life, and then marketing and digital teams pick what they need.”

The Results
Ads performance: the clearest win
Omi proved especially effective in paid media, where visuals directly impact performance.
In systematic A/B tests:
Omi visuals consistently outperformed lifestyle shoot visuals
ROAS reached 8.62 vs 0.95 on a 3-week campaign
Omi visuals became the baseline for retargeting campaigns
“In almost all A/B tests, the Omi campaign won.”
Omi assets were also used in:
Meta acquisition & retargeting
Video ads with simple camera movements and price overlays
Google Performance Max campaigns (combined with lifestyle videos), achieving ROAS ~3 with 1-day post-click attribution
“Omi is a solid foundation in ads. We always start with 2–3 Omi visuals and adapt them per platform.”

Beyond ads: eCommerce, CRM, and catalogs
Omi visuals now power nearly every customer-facing asset:
Newsletters (product grids, highlights)
eCommerce packshot banks, systematically deployed as ranges are completed
B2B presentation catalogs
Product communication ahead of launch, thanks to early modeling
Notably:
100% of the last two Panier des Sens catalogs were produced with Omi
Products are communicated before physical availability, saving weeks on launch timelines

From manual work to scalable execution
Before Omi, packshot creation involved:
Digging through photos
Incorrect lighting
Manual cutouts in Photoshop
Improvised, inconsistent results
“It was… artisanal.”
With Omi:
Products are stored, scaled, and lit correctly in 3D
Packshots are generated instantly from a single template
Visual consistency is guaranteed across channels

Looking ahead
Panier des Sens plans to:
Complete 3D modeling of all product ranges
Scale Omi usage further on Amazon
Harmonize visuals across full product variations (critical for marketplace performance)
“In eCommerce, especially on Amazon, visuals aren’t a creative question - it’s a performance question.”
For Panier des Sens, Omi has become a structural growth lever: faster execution and stronger performance.
