Mon Shampoing: Faster Visual Production with Full Creative Control

The Challenge
Long lead times and inconsistent results slowed everything down
Haircare brand Mon Shampoing decided to refresh its website and re-shoot every product in its catalog. Using traditional photography, this project would have taken months - possibly years - and significantly impacted their content budget.
Before Omi, the team relied on classic product photoshoots. Image delivery from studios often took weeks, and when files finally arrived, they rarely met expectations on the first attempt.

Post-production became unavoidable. Reflections on plastic packaging were hard to manage, backgrounds lacked consistency, and colors were often off. When timelines were too tight to wait on external designers, the team sometimes adjusted visuals themselves in Canva.
If a photographer selected props that didn’t align with the brand, the entire process had to restart. Waiting for images and then waiting again for retouches - slowed the entire marketing machine. Something had to change.

The Solution

Mon Shampoing discovered Omi through a social media ad, and the impact was immediate. Omi first created a 3D model of one product, which the team then used to produce virtual photography.
With Omi, the team gained full creative control. They could choose camera angles, select backgrounds or apply their brand kit, and drag-and-drop from Omi’s library of 6,000+ accessories - all to best communicate the product’s essence and use case. Once the scene was set, they simply clicked “render.”

Instead of blocking the entire team for days, Mon Shampoing could now work asynchronously. Each team member could create from the same templates, exchange ideas, and generate variations quickly.
The team saved preferred backgrounds, lighting setups, and prop selections as templates. As a result, products photographed years apart could still look visually cohesive.

Scalable across platforms: A single visual concept can be reused across backgrounds, props, aspect ratios, and formats. Mon Shampoing now creates visuals for social media, their website, print materials, and retail partners.
